Ordinary employees and Students.

Although it is not necessary, that one must have a Volkswagen car, to be accepted as a full member, we encourage associate
members to own one, so that he or she shall experience, the joy of driving and caring for one. As we in the Volkswagen club
say “Living without a Volkswagen is just plain existence”. We treat our VW cars as “members of the
family who just happens to sleep in the garage”.
After two years of active participation in the club activities, a member is awarded his numbered club badge, which he attaches
to his car. For some club members who are really outstanding, and works hard during the club activities, we award the badge
earlier.
In 1995, the Karmann Ghia owners within the club, formed the Karmann Ghia Registry. They meet every second Sunday of the
month. They do not hold major separate activities from the VW club.
